The purpose of the facilities and infrastructure procedure is to define the process for ensuring that suitable facilities, infrastructure and working environments are provided and maintained as required to ensure product conformity.

This includes the planning, provision and maintenance of suitable employee facilities, workspaces, equipment, software and associated services that are required to achieve confomity.

Application and scope

The facilities and infrastructure procedure has been developed to assist in meeting the requirements of Clause 7.1.3 and 7.1.4 of ISO 9001:2015 - Infrastructure and process environment.

The scope of the facilities and infrastructure procedure provides an approach to the management of facilities and the use of resources to support operations and to ensure that risks associated with the provision of facilities and resources are adequately managed in order to minimise the risk of injury or harm to employees.
