Introduction and purpose

The purpose of the quality objectives and indicators procedure is to establish how an organization can establish, communicate and monitor the achievement of its quality objectives, targets, indicators and programmes that are consistent with the scope of the quality policy.
Application and scope
This objectives and indicators procedure has been developed to assist in meeting the requirements of Clause 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 of ISO 9001:2015 - Quality objectives and planning to achieve them.
The scope of the objectives and indicators procedure applies the planning of an organization’s quality management system to ensure that the quality objectives and targets are consistent with quality policy commitments and intended outcomes. The procedure defines the responsibilities and time frames for establishing objectives, targets, indicators and programmes in conformance to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
