Your corrective action procedure must explain how you:

>    review non-conformance and customer complaints

>    decide the cause of the problem

>    decide an appropriate course of action to stop the problem recurring

>    put the plan into action

>    ensure that the action has solved the problem

Corrective action is re-active ie dealing with the problem AFTER the event.
